Darren Bauler Working out at the edges, sneaking in noises and beats and anything that resonates, this is a long dark storm system of a collection, a seemingly endless chain of islands in the fog, warning buoys made of bone and bioluminiscent algae, adrift on an unchartable tide. Time ends here. Favorite track: Reconfiguration (For Darren).

precenphix A massive compendium of earlier and unreleased work as well as alternate and demo versions of tunes released on older works. Worth every penny of the asking price and then some. Larson puts a lot of labor in her work and it shows well here, proving she’s much more than one-trick pony. A versatile artist with a lot to say musically, this album commands attention more than it functions as background music.
